Unlike others, we can provide a comprehensive range of cost-effective training and recruitment packages across all industry sectors that's tailored to your requirements PLUS we'll leave no stone unturned in sourcing any available grant funding to finance your chosen project, regardless of size.
Our services are employer-led. We'll work with you on any or all options. Whether you're a sole trader or a large organisation, we're there to support your choices.
The UK Government Kickstart Scheme
The Kickstart funding allows you to offer a young unemployed person (or persons), currently claiming Universal Credit and aged between 16-24, a 6 month placement for 25 hours a week at no cost to yourself.
In return for providing them with valuable work experience and improving their future job prospects, their wages for those 25 hours are paid by the UK Goverment via the Kickstart Scheme at the National Minimum Wage rate. This funding also covers your employer National Insurance contributions and minimum employer automatic enrolment contributions for them.
You will also receive a grant for initial setup costs to cover what's needed on the job for them such as PPE, equipment and tools. Start dates are flexible and can be any time up until the end of December 2021.
Workforce Development Plus can support you with your application paperwork and liase with DWP on your behalf to track its progress throughout. We'll also help with recruitment by focusing on the initial selection process and identifying suitable candidates for you to interview so you don't have to. We'll provide additional remote training sessions that will both enhance their skillsets and ensure the Kickstart funding criteria is fulfilled.
